The man behind the camera
Eight years in weddings. Six years in film. One camera doing both.
I've spent the last eight years filming weddings, after six years working in film and television production in Hollywood.
That background is the whole point. It's not about owning expensive gear — it's knowing how to use it: how to read a room, anticipate a moment before it happens, and stay invisible enough that nobody performs for the camera.
The result is a 4–7 minute highlight film that feels like a movie, because it's made with the same instincts.
Whenever I can, I build a team rather than shooting solo. With multiple operators on the day, every moment is covered from more than one angle, so nothing gets missed and the edit has real options.
But what keeps me in this industry isn't the gear. It's the day itself — one of the few times people actually gather, family flying in, old friends in the same room, everyone there on purpose. Capturing that honestly, while adding as little stress as possible to an already big day, is the job.
If that sounds like what you want for your day, tell me your date and let's talk.
NWFilms started filming weddings around Nebraska, and now travels across the country for them. Wherever the wedding is, the approach stays the same — show up, notice everything, and hand back a film worth watching again on the tenth anniversary, not just the first.
